This was said at a news conference on Thursday in Abuja by Mr. Ebenezer Olufemi, National Coordinator, Students Wing, PNK Support Group.
Olfemi said that the June 5 primary poll for the party was marred by irregularities and that Key won the contest despite the party leadership’s denials.
Ndidi Key is the legitimate victor of the primary on June 5.
“The PRP is a revolutionary party, and revolutionaries live to struggle for justice and fairness. It is not an individual’s party.
Therefore, it will be paradoxical that a party that boasts some of the most recognized radicals in the world of politics and government should now behave timidly in the face of such blatant violations of the party’s core ideals.
According to him, the PRP’s collectivism in terms of ownership and management is a special quality that must be preserved.
Olufemi pleaded for the party’s participants to cooperate with INEC so that justice would be served by securing Key’s selection as the legitimate PRP presidential candidate for 2023.
Fairness, value, and equity, which is the first cardinal principle of our cherished party, have been reduced to a bag of garbage when the goal post has been moved and the playing field has been tipped.
Olufemi stated that the organization would keep mobilizing its members around the nation to fight against any imposition, deception, or compromise made to serve the interests of a select few.
