To join other Nigerians in commemorating the anniversary, Jacob rode his motorcycle and parked it at the toll booth. In an interview with journalists, Jacob claimed that because he was present when the gunfire began, he would have perished in the sad tragedy.
He knelt down and thought about the tragic event. Two police officers approached and requested him to follow them as he was speaking with the media.
