“Akase donates campaign offices to Uba and Suswan in 2023:

Special Adviser to Benue State Governor on Media and Publicity, Terver Akase yesterday December 21, 2022, hosted party stakeholders, groups and other sons and daughters of Konshisha local government area for a Christmas get together.

The event which attracted hundreds of people from the eleven council wards of Konshisha took place at Divine Academy, Igbo, Agbeede.

Hon Akase donated well furnished and decorated campaign offices in Agbeede for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governorship candidate in the state, Rt Hon Titus Uba and the Senatorial candidate of the party for Benue North-East, Senator Gabriel Suswam.

 

In his address, Akase thanked Konshisha party stakeholders and groups for the massive support they gave him while he was aspiring for the 2023 governorship seat and said that he was home to inform them of his decision to fully support Engr Uba and other PDP candidates to emerge victorious in next year’s elections.

He said Rt Hon Titus Uba, Senator Suswam, Hon Julius Atoruogh for Jechira federal constituency, as well as Hon Agile Ordedoo Bem for Konshisha state assembly seat are credible candidates who the people should trust to deliver on their promises.

 

The Special Adviser said PDP has proven to be the party which works for the interest of the people, urging Konshisha to reject any form of deceit packaged by others to mislead them about who to vote for, in 2023.

 

Governor Samuel Ortom who was represented by the Commissioner Education, Dr Sarwuan Tarnongu, thanked the people of Konshisha for their support to his administration. He added that Akase has been a worthy and loyal aide while commending him for hosting Konshisha stakeholders for Christmas.

The Governor urged the people to massively turn out to vote for Uba, Suswam, Atorough and Agile during the polls next year, and they would not be disappointed.

 

Earlier, in their separate remarks, Chairman of the occasion, Chief Clement Adzuanongu, Chairlady of the occasion, Mrs Mwuese Ubebe, Konshisha Council Chairman, Mrs Christiana Amile-Gyuve, elder Chado Labar, former Governorship aspirant Engr Dondo Ahire, as well as PDP Konshisha party chairman, Hon Timothy Hwer, all commended Akase for organizing a great event and promised to work together for PDP’s victory.

 

In separate responses, Rt Hon Titus Uba who was represented by Reverend Dr John Tyonongu, Director, Religious & Cultural Engagement, PDP Campaign Management Committee, Senator Gabriel Suswam, Hon Julius Atorough and Hon Agile Ordedoo Bem, thanked Akase for the successful Christmas get together and promised not to let the people down, if elected.

 

Among the dignitaries present were the former Director General of Terver Akase Governorship Campaign Organization, Engr Conrad Terhide Utaan, the Director General of Radio Benue, Dr Charles Iornumbe, former Konshisha Council Chairman, Hon Iorhen Shirsha and Special Assistant to Hon Uba, Mr Jacob Angor.

 

High point of the occasion was the presentation and commissioning of campaign offices for Hon Uba and Senator Suswam.

Popular folk singers Gabon Akuhe, Thaddeus Tsaga, TK Baba, Swuem u Tiv, and Jaspa thrilled the crowd with songs at the ceremony.
