The actor said that the APC made a commitment to him to address security and corruption before he even joined the party.
He continued by saying that he joined the APC because of its commitment to upholding the nation’s constitution and ending all sorts of social injustice.
In an interview with Channels television, Okonkwo explained his decision to join the APC, saying, “I joined APC in 2016 when Boko Haram was reportedly technically vanquished.”
The insecurity that was once restricted to the Northeast has now expanded over all of Nigeria, he claimed, and the APC has done nothing.
I disagreed with the idea that ASUU would keep students at home and prevent my younger children from attending school for seven months.
I did not vote for animals to start to manifest as witches stealing our money, said Okonkwo, who is also the convener of the Campaign for Equity and Justice in Nigeria, in response to the corruption issues. Therefore, everyone in the APC regime has turned into a thief, including animals. We urgently need redemption.
“You can imagine that under the APC regime, we have seen termites devour paperwork, monkeys eat cash, and snakes turn into money eaters.
“One guy who is allegedly the keeper of Nigeria’s money is accused of stealing 109 billion, the proven amount.”
After the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket, Kenneth Okonkwo had previously claimed to have left the All Progressive Congress in July for the sake of equity, justice, fairness, and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
