A source said that the District Head and Danbalange, both members of the local All Progressives Congress, were kidnapped by terrorists from their respective houses on Friday around 4:30 am.
The source claims that a group of motorcycle-riding terrorists kidnapped the victims from their homes in the Birnin Tsaba neighborhood.
The insider continued, “A well-known terrorist leader was behind the attack on the two victims. He gave us a phone call and confirmed that his crew had kidnapped the victims.
He pointed out that the recent seizure of two brand-new motorcycles by security personnel belonging to the terrorists’ leader may have led to the kidnapping of the two victims.
He clarified that the terrorists’ leader had also promised to exact revenge on the two victims because the government was aware of his motorcycles that had been seized by security guards.
The insider claimed that every attempt is being made to secure the abductees’ quick release and that they have begun negotiations with the kingpin to determine how the victims will reclaim their freedom.
Following the kidnapping of the victims, Mohammed Shehu, the state police spokesman, could not be reached by phone for comment.
