(LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Their meeting with the Rivers governor, Wike and others also held in London.
Sources told AFRIPOST that Atiku and Wike agreed on some major issues and that Wike’s concerns are already being addressed.
Other details of the meeting have remained undisclosed as at press time.
Recall that the Rivers governor is aggrieved over the handling of the outcome of the party’s primary and the decision by Atiku Abubakar to
pick Ifeanyi Okowa as against the popular wish of the party leadership that Wike be chosen as Atiku’s running mate.
Wike believes he was betrayed by the top party leadership and had requested the resignation of
the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu as one of the conditions to work for the party in 2023.
