The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River State has called Governor Ben Ayade’s presentation of Quantum Infinitum’s N330 billion budget yesterday “crazy” and “embarrassing.”

The party’s chairman, Vena Ikem, spoke exclusively to Cezzatech on Friday morning and stated the following:

“It is absurd to budget N330 billion for one year when N249 billion in federal revenue has accrued to the state from the time he took office in June 2015 through July 2022.

This irresponsible pretense of budgeting, which has persisted for seven years, is embarrassing to the State.

 

The PDP leader lamented the fact that Governor Ayade is merely making fun of himself and claimed that everyone in the nation views him as a clown.

He claimed that information from the National Bureau of Statistics had revealed the budget’s hollowness and that it is an ineffective method of expenditure planning.
