Barcelona must participate in the Europa League Round of 32 after losing on Wednesday night in the Champions League.

Before their match against Barcelona at the Nou Camp ever started, the LaLiga giants were eliminated from the top-tier competition in Europe.

Barca has exited the group round of the Champions League for the second straight year.

 

Barcelona must participate in a playoff round to really advance to the round of 16 since they have been demoted to the Europa League due to their Champions League exit.

They will play one of the teams that placed second in the Europa League group stage in that two-game matchup.

The dates of those two games are February 16 and February 23, 2023.

The draw will take place before the World Cup on November 7 begins.
