“Buhari presides over National Security: – Council meeting:

In the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari presided over a National Security Council (NSC) meeting on Friday, October 14.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha, National Security Adviser Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd), and Chief of Staff to the President Professor Ibrahim Gambari are all present at the current NSC meeting.

The Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi, the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, and the Minister of Defense, Major General Bashir Magashi (ret. ), are also there.

 

Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo, and Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao were among the service chiefs who were escorted to the meeting by General Lucky Irabor, the chief of the defense staff.

 

Alkali Baba Usman, the director general of the Department of State Service (DSS), Yusuf Bichi, Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, the director general of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and Major General Samuel Adebayo, the head of defense intelligence, are all present at the meeting.
