President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to visit Imo State in September to officially open some capital projects done by Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.
The projects include the Imo State House of Assembly complex, two of the 3-R administration’s major roads, the dualised 53-kilometre Owerri/Okigwe road and the 36-kilometre Owerri/Orlu road.
This was made known by Declan Mbadiwe Emelumba, the state commissioner for information and strategy on Wednesday.
He confirmed the president’s second visit to Imo, adding that Imo residents could not wait to meet the president.
Present at the briefing were the Commissioners for Works, Barr. Ralph Nwosu; Housing, Lady Love Ineh; the Chief Political Adviser and Head Political Bureau, Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu, and the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the Governor, Oguwike Nwachuku.
Emelumba further explained that “Mr President will also commission the rebuilt Imo State House of Assembly Complex.”
