The Nigerian champions lost 1-0 to hosts AS FAR of Morocco in the semi-final on Wednesday night.

The Prosperity Girls will battle Tanzania’s Simba Queens for third position at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium, Rabat, on Saturday night (today).

Victory in the game will make it a befitting end to the competition for Bayelsa Queens who have fared well on their maiden appearance.

Okara believes they can see out their unsatisfying maiden appearance on a high.

“Unfortunately, we lost the semi-finals game, we were down, but we’ve picked ourselves up and will give a good show on Saturday,” Okara told press conference.

“That is the least we can do, we didn’t bargain for the bronze medal what we came for is to win the trophy, but unfortunately we are in this situation, what we have to do is to redeem ourselves by winning the match, I will call it golden bronze,” he said.

Holders, Mamelodi Sundowns will face AS FAR in the final on Sunday.
