Michael Beale, the manager of Queens Park Rangers, has revealed that Leon Balogun is a candidate to play Cardiff City in today’s Sky Bet Championship match.

In last Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Luton Town, Balogun sustained a wound.

On the fourteenth minute, Sierra Leonean defender Osman Kakay took over for the 33-year-old.

Beale has confirmed that the center-back is available for Cardiff City’s visit to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, dispelling concerns that he could need to spend some time on the sidelines.

Leon Balogun is in good health, has resumed training, and will play in the game, Beale said at a press conference.

This summer, the seasoned defender made a free transfer to QPR.

He has represented the team in six league games.
