“COVID-19 contractors – protest in Abuja:

Some contractors who allegedly provided the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) with COVID-19 medical supplies and equipment are purportedly organizing a protest in Abuja over the non-payment of the money they have been owed since 2019.

The demonstration, which began today, October 17, is still occurring, according to The Nation.

 

According to reports, the contractors stopped the FCT Minister’s entrance gate, resulting in traffic jams and prevented vehicles from reaching the FCTA secretariat.
