Hours after the rumor of Ifeanyi’s death began to circulate on social media, however, Davido or anyone from his camp has yet to respond to the incident.
Unconfirmed reports state that the three-year-old youngster drowned on Monday in a pool at his father’s residence in Banana Island.
It was discovered that many of the individuals who were at Davido’s home at the time of the incident had been detained.
According to reports, the distraught musician was transferred from the hospital where his son was admitted and brought to his father’s home.
Nigerians have, nonetheless, flocked to their various social media accounts to pray for the family while hoping the report is false.
Since the supposed death of Ifeanyi became public knowledge, Nigerians—especially fans of entertainment—have been horrified and traumatized by the situation.
A number of famous people have sent cryptic remarks that seem to corroborate Ifeanyi’s passing. Among them are radio host Daddy Freeze, comedians Ayo Makun and Lasisi Elenu, and others.
“The death of a kid is unnatural, unfair, and heartbreaking, this affected me very terribly,” Makun wrote in an Instagram post early on Tuesday.

Rosemary Afuwape, a reality television personality and actress, wrote on her Instagram account, “My heart can’t take this. This ache is unbearably excruciating. Please accept my sympathies on behalf of Chioma and Davido. There are no words that can ease your hearts. I sincerely apologize for your loss.
Ifeanyi’s alleged death was the most popular subject on Twitter as of 1.28 am.
However, the death rumor was first mentioned in a now-deleted late-Monday post by the actress Eniola Badmus.
In response to Badmus’ article, Nigerians criticized her for disclosing such private information to the public.
