“Eid-el-Fitr: CDS congratulates Nigeria’s military and Muslims:

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor has felicitated with the members of the Armed Forces of Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr celebration.

In a statement by the Acting Director Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, he congratulated Muslims all over the world for ending the month of Ramadan successfully.

 

He prayed to Almighty God to bless Nigerians through this month of Ramadan, just as he urged the citizens to continue praying for the unity and peaceful coexistence of Nigerians

He further urged Nigerians to continue to uphold the lessons of patience and sacrifice with one another as exemplified in the holy month.

While commending the Armed Forces of Nigeria for the role played in the recently concluded supplementary elections, he assured Nigerians of loyalty by the Armed Forces of Nigeria to the democratic leadership.

 

While wishing Nigerians a happy Sallah celebration, he expressed the commitment of the Armed Forces of Nigeria to uphold constitutional governance in Nigeria.
