Cole remarked of Ronaldo during an interview with BT Sport: “It is a great achievement to do it the way he has done. Haaland could have the same number of goals, but does he have the quality? I’m not certain. For a very long time, we won’t see two [Ronaldo and Messi] like this.
“We talk about legends, but none of them maintained this level of greatness for this length of time,” Ferdinand continued. It’s astounding. Haaland and Mbappe are in sight, but they won’t make it. It displays the levels that we are referring to.
