According to De Gea, Man United are currently pressuring and recovering the ball well beneath Ten Hag and high up the field.
The Spaniard made this statement following Man United’s Sunday 1-0 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford’s strike gave Man United the victory over West Ham at Old Trafford, and De Gea was outstanding.
“This is a big victory for us. We need to win games like this one today if we want to succeed and be at the top,” De Gea told Sky Sports.
The header from Zouma was likely the better of the two stops because it was almost certainly going in, but I’m glad for all of them. It’s a huge victory, and I’m happy to have made the saves.
“We are putting good pressure on the ball and retrieving it well high up the pitch. At the very end, we let up a few chances, but West Ham is a fantastic squad. To be really honest, I’m overjoyed.
