Ferdinand told Carragher he didn’t want to hear the debate and pleaded with him to stop.
He claims that Man United does not appear any better without Ronaldo.
This comes after Ronaldo scored his 700th club goal in Sunday’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Everton for Manchester United.
People claim he doesn’t press, Ferdinand stated in a video posted to his FIVE YouTube page. If he doesn’t push, I will accept that argument and think you are correct if other people entered and their pressing style made them look entirely different.
When pressing to recover the ball, Ferdinand continued, “This team does not look any better or worse when Ronaldo is playing or not. I don’t want to hear that argument from you or any of the other individuals who keep bringing it up, Jamie Carragher included.
