Kante has had a stellar career for both club and country, but lately, injuries have been a problem.

This season, the France international has played just 175 minutes of football for Chelsea due to recurring knee and muscular injuries.

The World Cup winner is already in the last year of his Chelsea contract, and in January 2023, he will be able to begin pre-contract talks with international teams.

However, Petit thinks that Kante’s injury prevents him from playing well and that he might be permitted to leave Stamford Bridge next year.

“Kante has been outstanding for a very long time. He has been traveling the globe constantly, but I can appreciate Chelsea’s perspective, Petit said to Getting Casino.

“How can they pay someone who is always hurt so much money? He is unable to play a proper game.

I heard he’s back in training and will be healthy shortly, but I understand Chelsea’s stance, the speaker said. If he chooses not to sign a contract, he will be a fantastic deal because he will be available for no cost, and some clubs will undoubtedly be interested in signing him.
