Due to Anthony Martial’s injury and Cristiano Ronaldo’s lack of playing time this season, Erik ten Hag has primarily deployed Marcus Rashford as a central striker.
The England international acknowledges that the left side “feels a little more natural for me.”
Rashford said, “I think I can play both, the left side is a bit more natural for me, I enjoy performing both positions and helping the team – that’s what’s essential,” after scoring twice against Omonia on Thursday night in the Europa League.
Europa League Rashford tells:
We have a lot of guys that can play many positions, which is great because you never know what may happen if we have injuries. You need to be at your best to fill in wherever is needed.
