Nearly four months after Olusola Olasehinde, a 30-year-old healthcare worker, left for work in Ibadan, Oyo State, and failed to return, his family has expressed concern about his whereabouts.

On June 29, 2022, about 7.30 am, Olusola, an employee of Fidson Healthcare in Ibadan, and his wife Chisom reportedly departed Redemption Camp.
He was reported to have gotten in a car on Monday in front of the Redemption Camp, but he never made it back home.
In a conversation with Punch, his older brother Oluwagbenga claimed that all searches for him had been fruitless.
He resides at the Redemption Camp with his wife. Since he was transferred to Ibadan last year, he typically travels there on Monday and returns on Friday. On June 29, they both arrived at the Redemption Camp’s gate at 7:30 in the morning. While Sola traveled to Ibadan for work, the wife visited the Abeokuta High Court, according to Oluwagbenga.
“When my younger brother contacted him at around nine in the morning, he picked up the phone and claimed he was on a bus and would call back when he arrived in Ibadan. His wife called me at about the same time to let me know that she had arrived at the Abeokuta court. She claimed that her husband’s call arrived in a flash, and she made an effort to return it right away because the court wasn’t yet in session. She claimed that his call was not being received.
“My mother traveled to Redemption Camp on the same day with a few items that she wanted to offer to the campers, so I went there around noon. Since she couldn’t reach them on her new phone, my mother started calling me to ask me to come instead.
“I called at around 2:00 pm, but the number was busy. Around 8 o’clock in the evening, I called his wife to let her know I needed to speak with her husband. She informed me that she had been attempting to reach him but to no avail.
“Around 11 o’clock, the woman called back and sobbed that she still hadn’t seen her husband and that his phone had stopped working. She continued by saying that when she tried calling his office’s phone numbers, no one answered. His number has not been active up until this point.”
The family had reported the incident to the police and the Department of State Services, according to Oluwagbenga, who added that all efforts had been in vain.
He mentioned that the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State had also been informed of the incident, and the operatives there had vowed to find Olusola’s phone.
Chisom, the victim’s wife who gave birth to a boy in September 2022, claimed she hadn’t heard from her husband.
She claimed that the police had been provided Olusola’s photo to help in their investigation.
