A bogus National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp was also shut down.

At a youth dialogue on corruption at tertiary institutions on Tuesday in Abuja, the chairman, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, disclosed this information.

Invoking Hannatu Mohammed, the ICPC Board member in charge of juveniles, Owasanoye claimed that the commission has brought charges against the offenders.

No nation will advance beyond the scope and caliber of its educational system, according to the chairman.

In order to advance the battle against corruption, particularly in higher institutions, Owasanoye claimed that the ICPC established anti-corruption vanguards in schools.

He claimed that the vanguards give the student members the ability to establish a zero tolerance for corruption and to instill a shift in attitude in their peers.

Owasanoye made a suggestion that the ICPC reviewed the university system’s system to uncover practices that encouraged corruption.

The study uncovered examination malpractices, overbilling, and contract value inflation, as well as bribery, gratification, sexual harassment, and sexual seduction.
