Musa Abari was fatally shot after alleged kidnappers broke into his home in Kasada village, Kuje Area Council, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and kidnapped his wife, Hulaira, as well as five other people.

According to reports, the gunmen stormed the village on Monday, April 17 at around 11.30 p.m. with AK-47 rifles in hand and started shooting randomly. Locals claim that the shooters broke into the homes with force.

 

According to reports, the deceased man was shot in the chest and died while attempting to stop the gunmen from abducting his wife.

After taking the woman hostage, the assailants went to nearby homes and kidnapped five additional victims before retreating back into the bush.

 

On this most recent development, the FCT police command has not yet commented.
