The Kebbi police command has arrested two men for allegedly raping two minors in the state’s Danko/Wasagu and Augie Local Government Areas (LGAs).

Mr Christopher Pills, 30, of Bena town in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of the state, was arrested after the father of his 9-year-old victim, Mr Lawrence Johnson, reported that Pills defiled his daughter.
The other suspect, Anas Dantalli, 19, of Nawada Illela Kwaido in Augie LGA, was apprehended after one Mr Rugga Aliyu of Mashekari Illela Kwaido in Augie LGA reported to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Augie that the suspect pursued and raped one of his daughters while they were rearing goats and sheep in the bush.
According to the state’s Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Magaji-Kontagora, investigations are still ongoing and suspects will be charged in court once they are completed.
