The college published a statement disputing a story reportedly issued by management that old students would resume classes on October 20, 2022.
“This comment is not from the administration of the university.”
“We are still expecting a definitive statement of strike call-off from ASUU before any decision of official resume date could be reached,” it said, calling the claim “false news.”
Another report about the selling of the 2022/2023 Post-UTME Screening Form to candidates was also denied by the school.
Kunle Akogun, the university’s director of corporate affairs, clarified in a statement Unilorin had not yet made a decision, according to rumors in an Ilorin statement.
“This is to inform all University of Ilorin admission applicants that the institution has not yet made any decision about the 2022/2023 Post-UTME screening.
Therefore, they should ignore a rumor that is now making the rounds on internet forums claiming that the University has begun the procedure for selling Post-UTME screening registration forms.
The statement said, “This is the creation of scammers; admission aspirants should dismiss it.
