This was stated by Jonathan in a message of congratulations on Thursday in Abuja.
The former president said the 48-year-old Chief Executive Officer deservedly received the prize.
As the state’s Special Adviser on Community Health, Chairman of the Bayelsa Action Committee on AIDS (SACA), and Commissioner for Health, Eruani made an immeasurable contribution to his own Bayelsa, according to Jonathan.
He praised Eruani for his enormous contributions to the expansion of Nigeria’s economy and his significant financial investments there.
“The industrialist served the state honorably and spotlessly,” he said.
Jonathan was optimistic that Nigeria’s first privately owned hydro skimming refinery, Eruani, would mitigate the effects of the nation’s lack of access to refined petroleum products.
“On behalf of my family, let me express my deepest congratulations on receiving the CFR from President Muhammadu Buhari, head of the federal government of Nigeria.
“This award is well earned as it recognizes your efforts and the significant economic and business investments you have made in Nigeria, which have contributed to the expansion of the nation’s economy.
“You have been an inspiration to many young people as an entrepreneur, demonstrating the Nigerian spirit of tenacity and resolve to succeed, even in the most trying situations,” he remarked.
.
Jonathan praised Eruani’s pioneering effort in constructing the nation’s first privately owned hydro skimming refinery, calling it a valiant performance that has inspired and motivated many Nigerians to pursue successful entrepreneurship.
“I think Buhari is aware of the important role your refinery will play in mitigating the effects of the nation’s lack of refined goods.
“Considering your dedication to helping people, feeling of patriotism, and the ability you demonstrated while working as my adviser on community health, among other things, your trajectory in business and entrepreneurship did not come as a surprise to me.
He added, “I congratulate you on this accomplishment and wish you further steps and more honor.
Eruani, a 48-year-old doctor of medicine, industrialist, and well-known businessman, is one of the youngest Nigerians to get the title of CFR.
Buhari approved the honor on him in accordance with the National Honours Act No. 5 of 1964, according to the letter delivering the national award to him.
The letter states that he would receive the CFR award in a formal ceremony on Tuesday, October 11 at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
