The will that Joseph Aloba, the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, allegedly left behind before his untimely death in September 2023, has drawn attention.

Mr. Aloba expressed disbelief that his son had already written a will at such a young age in an interview with TVC. He claimed to have noticed that Mohbad’s signature was missing from the will, leaving him perplexed as to why his son had consented to use a thumbprint rather than his own.

 

Nigerians have reacted differently to his comment. Some criticize him for discussing his son’s will, who died only four months ago, while others agree with him and believe the musician should have signed the alleged will rather than using a thumbprint.
