Parler released a press release today, October 17, announcing the acquisition.
According to Parler, it has reached a preliminary understanding with Ye, which is anticipated to be finalized later this year.
In a press release, Kanye added, “We have to make sure we have the freedom to openly express ourselves in a world where conservative viewpoints are perceived to be controversial.
The acquisition, according to Parler’s parent company Parlement Technologies, would contribute to the development of “an unstoppable environment where all voices are welcome.”
