In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Enugu, Ezekwueme commended the state administration for having exceptional leadership skills that encouraged the hard work and dedication of Nigerians working there.

NAN recalls that on October 12, Zulum distributed to primary school teachers from the Maiduguri and Jere Local Education Authority the 24 fully furnished bungalows in the teachers’ quarters at Bulumkutu along the Airport Road, Maiduguri (LEA).

Mrs. Mazi, a teacher at Shehu Sanda Kyarimi 2 Primary School under the Jere Local Government Education Authority for 31 years, is one of the recipients of the new teachers’ quarters.

A university professor named Zulum had earlier on February 15, 2021, ordered Mazi to be promoted from the position of class teacher to that of assistant headmistress and given a financial prize of N100,000 as an executive incentive for her punctuality and commitment.

Ezekwueme, the head of the civil liberties organization in Anambra, expressed his admiration for Zulum’s unmatched patriotism and unselfish commitment to humanity by praising the diligent and committed teachers and civil servants in his state.

He claims that by making such a kind gesture to Mrs. Mazi, an Abia native, the governor has shown in words and deeds that he is a detribalized Nigerian, patriot, and statesman.

According to Governor Zulum, “the only good motive in life is the motive of doing good for one’s country and her residents,’ which has distinguished him as a remarkable and distinctive personality.

“Zulum frequently expresses the optimism for a new Nigeria that reflects our hopes, aspirations, and desires.

There is hope for a better, more prosperous, united, and secure Nigeria and Nigerians thanks to the house allocation to non-indigenes, notably Mrs. Obiageli Mazi, he said.

He urged political figures and government employees to display the same levels of patriotism, humility, and selflessness as Governor Zulum.

If we want to bring about the Nigeria of our dreams and aspirations in line with the ideology and philosophy of our founding fathers, it is obvious that we must all follow Gov. Zulum’s examples, he continued.
