N-Kogi Power’s State office has denied rumors that it is requesting payment from Batch C, Stream II beneficiaries in order to sign and stamp their deployment letters.

This information was released in a statement on Sunday by the Kogi N-Power Program Officer, Ustaz Sadiq Hamid, on behalf of Prince Abdulkareem Onyekehi Suleiman, the Kogi State focal person for the National Social Investment Program (NSIP).
According to the statement, anyone impersonating a desk officer and demanding N200 to N500 per beneficiary for stamping or signing their deployment letters will be detained and sent over to the proper authorities for prosecution.
This is to inform all N-Power Batch C, Stream II recipients that there is NO charge or cost connected for signing and stamping deployment letters, among other things, the notification says.
The N-Power Kogi State office wants to distance itself from ANYONE impersonating a desk officer and charging beneficiaries N200 to N500 every signature or stamp on their deployment letters.
Beneficiaries are advised to report anyone requesting money or a fee to sign their letters under the guise of a desk officer or any identity, either as a staff member of NSIP, Local Government Areas, National Youth Service Corp, (NYSC), or HEAD OF PPA to NSIP Office. As we have repeatedly stated, NPower registration, the online test, physical verifications, and deployments are completely free. Anyone found engaging in such behavior must report them to the appropriate authorities.
