The kidnappers who kidnapped Hannah Opeyemi in the Abeokuta region of the state last Friday, November 4, are now being sought by Ogun state police.

The woman was reportedly with a lawyer named Sanni Boladale when they were ambushed by thugs who were waiting around the corner as the lawyer was ready to drive into his complex at Soyoye, in the state’s Abeokuta-North Local Government area.
According to reports, the lawyer was able to fight off the kidnappers and escape, but the woman was not so lucky. She was overpowered and taken to an unidentified location.
Kidnappers have made Soyoye, which is connected to Ayetoro by road with Isaga, Ibara-Orile, and Sokoto, their center of operations. The son of a well-known doctor, a retired lecturer, a policewoman, a nurse, a doctor, and numerous travelers are among the locals who have been abducted and later freed after paying ransoms.
The state police command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the event to reporters and stated that steps are being taken to track down the kidnappers and free the victim without injury.
