The Little House On The Prairie actress passed away on Saturday, October 10, at her Malibu, California, home, according to a statement released on Sunday.
Eileen was the mother of three actors: Sean, 62, Michael, 64, and Chris, 40, who died in 2006 from a heart condition.
Michael, Eileen’s oldest child, posted a picture of his mother along with the emoticon for a shattered heart.
“We lost mum yesterday,” he wrote.
On October 16, Eileen would have aged 95. She had a dazzling career in film and television and was in classic movies like I Am Sam and Magnolia.
