In 11 Premier League games this season, the Norwegian has already scored 17 goals.
However, Haaland sustained an injury during Tuesday night’s 0-0 tie between City and Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland was replaced by Guardiola in Dortmund at halftime after it was revealed that he had a mild temperature and a foot issue.
The City manager stated: “He feels better but we will train this afternoon and we will assess in a few hours” on Friday afternoon.
“We’ll wait to make a decision until we know how his foot feels. I’ll find out in two hours whether he can play or not.
However, Haaland didn’t make the team because Julian Alvarez started at the front.
Additionally, Jack Grealish has been brought up to the starting lineup, and Bernardo Silva will probably line up on the right side of the front three.
