The governor expressed concern that if APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu were to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, the nation would fall apart.
At the launch of the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council, Obaseki made the comments.
According to the governor, generations would be impacted when Nigeria’s debt reached N60 trillion.
If we think about supporting a government like the APC, then as citizens, our heads need to be checked.
“Like I said, may God forbid APC wins the election.
This nation will disintegrate, and his nation will fail.
Nobody, according to Obaseki, “has caused the amount of devastation the APC government has,”
The governor admitted he has no idea how the country can recover to party members and supporters.
By the time the PDP’s Atiku Abubakar wins, according to Obaseki, “we will not be able to sleep day or night.”
“Nigeria would soon owe N60 trillion in debt. When will we be able to escape it?
“They print every day, every month” (money). I didn’t know it was this awful when I spoke more than a year ago.
Only God can save us from the naira’s demise. He proclaimed, “They have devastated the country’s bases.
