Four of the new recruits were signed from Heartland Football Club of Owerri, their rivals from the East.
The group consists of Chijioke Mbaoma, Nonso Nzediegwu, Murphy Ndukwu, and Chibuike Nwaiwu.
As a direct replacement for Ghanaian midfielder Farouk Mohammed, who left the People’s Elephant after five years to join current NPFL winners Rivers United, Nwaiwu, who signed a two-year contract with the team, joins from Aba.
Wingers Nzediegwu and Ndukwu are anticipated to speed up and enliven the team’s assault.
Another player who is anticipated to contribute to the Aba giants’ success in the upcoming season is versatile Mbaoma, who also agreed to a two-year contract.
In a similar vein, the two-time African champions have finalized the three-year contract signing of James Oransaya from Nigeria National League team, Gateway United.
The defensive midfielder, who played for Gateway United as captain before joining Enyimba, has five goals for the team the previous year.
