According to the statement, Adah further directed that the officers deployed across the state must remain valiant and tactically prepared to protect lives and property against criminals before, during and after the Eid-al-Fitr celebration.

He said critical national assets and infrastructure are of great value to the nation and directed all personnel deployed for this year’s Eid-al-Fitr celebration to ensure they are protected.

Adah further warned all officers to take precautions, saying that the time to be extra vigilant and more security conscious is now, considering the present security challenges in the state.

He advised residents in the state to celebrate the Eid-al-Fitr with care, love, devoid of trouble or any form of disobedience to the rule of laws governing the state.

He wished all residents in the state a happy Eid-al-Fitr celebration, and advised them to be vigilant and watch out for strange faces, or any form of criminals and report to the security agency in the state for immediate arrest and prosecution.
