“NYSC member, one other escape death as accident claims motorcyclist in Ibadan community:

A vehicle accident in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, left two individuals, among them a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) volunteer, critically injured but alive.

The two suffered varying degrees of injury, while the commercial motorcycle driver who was riding them perished in the collision.

Cezzatech discovered that the commercial motorcycle rider’s body had been sent to his hometown of Iseyin for burial.

As of the time of reporting this post on Saturday, the injured pair was still being treated at a private hospital.

On Thursday, the tragedy took place in the Awotan neighborhood of the Ido local government area in Ibadan.

 

Cezzatech discovered that the accident involved a commercial motorcycle, an Oyo State Waste Management Agency, OYOWMA, garbage disposal vehicle, and a bus with ten passengers.

One of the passengers, female serving corps member Ifedayo Ogunlana, suffered a critical injury, according to information obtained by our correspondent on Friday.

The second passenger, a guy, narrowly avoided death with only minor leg bruising.

It was learned that the failure of the brake was what caused the accident.

According to sources, the articulated truck drove into the two other vehicles while they were parked on the side of the road in an effort to swerve off the road.

 

The biker was also crushed by the vehicle during this process, and his body was taken to the Apete Police Divisional Station before being handed to his family in Iseyin for burial.
