PDP BoT chairman steps down

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Walid Jibrin, has resigned from his position.

Jibrin made the announcement on Thursday September 8,  at the National Executive Council meeting currently ongoing in Abuja.

Walid said his resignation was to curb the crisis in the party and make sure that the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, emerges president in 2023.
