It’s not clear yet the purpose of the meeting, but AFRIPOST gathered that the aspiration of Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 election was the centre of the discussion.
Recall that Wike and a few other Governors, including Samuel Ortom are aggrieved over how the presidential candidate of their party, the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar handled issues after the presidential primary of the party.
Instead of going for Wike who came second in the primary as recommended by the party’s committee, Atiku opted for Ifeanyi Okowa.
The development has further angered Wike who had said he would speak in due time.
