On Saturday, October 8, 2022, a number of attacks on local communities resulted in the loss of life in his state. This prompted the governor to issue his decree.

Lalong contends that the attackers must be apprehended and dealt with harshly.

Cezzatech discovered that in addition to the recent incident, other lone killings had been recorded in towns including Follo, Karara, and Mangor. Other reported homicides included the abduction of some pupils at All Nation’s Academy who were later freed by security personnel.

The Governor commended the united security team that included vigilante and hunting groups for ensuring the earlier release of 10 people who had been abducted by bandits in Bashar, Wase Local Government.

The quick action of the police, Operation Safe Haven, and neighborhood watch organizations who gave the criminals a vigorous pursuit and made sure that all the kidnapped people and other stolen property were recovered is commendable, according to Lalong.

According to Lalong, “this level of criminality must be comprehensively addressed by the security authorities working with traditional and community leaders and utilizing the institutions of community policing and vigilante groups.”

The governor also warned criminals that, under whatever pretense, his administration would not support the state’s return to the dark ages.

He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and reassured them that those responsible for the atrocities will be held accountable.
