The Adamawa police command has detained five alleged kidnappers.

The accused are part of a criminal organization that operates in Mubi North and South Local Government, according to SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the state police’s spokesperson. He said that the operatives recovered 4,079,000 Naira from the suspects.
Following the abduction of 8-year-old Mustapha Aliyu Fadil in Mubi, they were detained. They reportedly transported the child to the Barassa Hotel in Maraba Mubi.
According to reports, they detained their victim for two days before demanding a five million dollar ransom.
The four individuals who were captured have been named as Zaiyat Adamu, 19, Abdulrahman Abubakar, 31, Haruna Yakubu, Abubakar Muhammed, 20, and Isa Musa, 21.
While praising the officers and men for disrupting the criminal network by acting professionally, Commissioner of Police SK Akande gave them instructions to keep up the pace in order to checkmate crime and criminals in and around the state.
