Nigerians have been warned by the Department of State Services (DSS) that politicians will probably employ thugs during the campaign for the 2023 elections.

According to the Daily Trust, Enachie stated that the government must take the matter seriously and take action to educate the youth about the dangers of allowing themselves to be used as thugs in the state and other parts of the nation.
The DSS Director emphasized the importance of citizens providing security services with intelligence, and he urged the military to continue its operations against terrorists in places like Birnin Gwari and other flashpoints.
Additionally, he urged the Federal Government to complete the Birnin Gwari and Kaduna-Abuja highways, as doing so would help to increase road security.
