Before the 2023 elections, Nigerians are asked to carefully consider and “push” each presidential contender, according to Baba Hakeem-Ahmed, spokesman for the Northern Elders Forum (NEF).

According to him, it is important to examine how each presidential candidate would address Nigeria’s problems if elected.
On Sunday Politics on Channels Television, Hakeem-Ahmed spoke.
He made the point that since the majority of the presidential contenders have extensive experience, they had to explain to Nigerians how they propose to address the issues facing the nation.
He said, “Nigerians must pressure our candidates. We must immediately determine which of these folks may be trusted.
“These are all quite seasoned individuals when it comes to managing people. These are also those who have amassed sufficient wealth to get at least to the point of being candidates. Examining their personalities is necessary.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party are the front-runners for the presidency (NNPP).
