The public was told on Tuesday by the Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO), Bisi Kazeem, acting Corps Marshal Dauda Biu.
The agency urged drivers and commuters to go Akure-Ondo-Ife-Ibadan or Lagos-Ibadan-Ife-Ondo-Ore-Benin from Abuja through Ondo.
Travelers were instructed to take the same path from Lagos and other South-Western locations, including Ondo, to the North.
According to the FRSC, the advisory was released because the Igbara-Oke-Ilara-Mokin route is currently completely shut down.
Biu guaranteed that enough operators and logistics had been deployed to guarantee the prompt removal of any barriers in the way of easy flow.
Some routes are impassable due to issues like damaged roads and the severe floods Nigerians are experiencing, which are the worst in ten years.
