They were until their death 200 level students of the institution.
Sources informed AFRIPOST newspaper that their mates became concerned when they were not seen during the ongoing examination in the university and also in their class for three days.
“It was when some of their friends got to their hostel outside the school that they found both dead and naked. But we suspect it is a case of poison,” according to the sources.
The Director, University Relations of KaWASU, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, said the school was yet to receive official communication on the death of the two students.
The spokesman of the Kwara State Police Command, Ajayi Okasanmi, however, confirmed the sad incident to newsmen in Ilorin, the state capital.
He said: “The information was that the students were found dead inside their room and the police were alerted.
“Our officers pulled down the door and they were taken to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) for autopsy.
“But investigation into the matter is ongoing,” he added.
