Ohuabunwa who represented Abia north senatorial zone between 2015 to 2019, and currently seeking the people’s mandate to
return to the red chamber in 2023, also regretted that the bill for takeover of the College of Education Technical Arochukwu by the federal government; as well as the
establishment of a federal polytechnic item, which had all passed third reading respectively, could not be followed up by his successor.
He spoke during the inauguration of members of his campaign council for Abia north 2023 senatorial district election which took place recently in the area.
Ohuabunwa vowed to unseat Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and return to the upper legislative chamber of the
national assembly come 2023 in continuation of service to the people towards enhancing their welfares.

The former member of the house of representatives continued, “since i left the senate in 2019, Abia north has become voiceless and without good political direction.
“Abia north senatorial is backward, and lagged behind in attractions of the building of meaningful economic and Infrastructural projects to enhance growths and development of Abia north zone”.
Asked to further speak on his chance in the forthcoming 2023 senatorial election in Abia State, Ohuabunwa, who is the Abia north senatorial
candidate of the PDP, however, maintained that he is fully prepared to return to the senate, in order to ensure effective and responsive
representation of Abia north district of Abia State, pleading with anyone who had any ill-feelings against him to forgive and support his return bid.
