“Work in Kaduna resumes in the new year, but few employees show up:

Following the end of the federal government-proclaimed public holiday for the new year, regular business hours resumed in Kaduna on Tuesday.

Only a few people were seen greeting one another and congratulating themselves on making it to the new year, 2023, in the many government buildings that were visited throughout the state on Tuesday.

 

An anonymous government employee told Cezza’s Blog that some employees hadn’t yet reported to work and that his boss would be there the following week.

 

The new year has just begun, and work has only recently resumed. To clean oga’s table before he arrives, junior officials and low cadre public employees must be present in the office. Like every year, serious things are still taking shape at this point in the year.
