African nations would struggle at the 2022 World Cup, according to former Nigerian captain Austin Jay Jay Okocha.

Okocha thinks that Asian and North American teams are performing better than African teams.

At the Olympics, the flag of the continent will be flown by Senegal, Morocco, Cameroon, Tunisia, and Ghana.

“This is the first time I don’t think highly of Africa’s chances in the World Cup.

“If you look at North America and Asia, they appear to be more developed and powerful than we are. Now that North America and Asia appear to be ahead of us, we were already 50 paces behind South America and Europe.
