“The work is done. God did it” he wrote.
Speaking to Mangrovepen, a Bayelsa news portal, Ayebatonye revealed how he refused to allow his physical appearance to limit his achievements in life.
According to him, he grew up in a community where the majority of his peers did not discriminate against him despite his appearance.
He gave advice to those who shared his circumstance not to let their situation control their thoughts and actions.
“Physical abnormalities shouldn’t cause you to think too much. As long as you remain mentally sound, your life is not over. No justifications for failure are necessary from you. By God’s grace, you have every reason to be who He wants you to be “said he.
“Even though you may eventually experience depression, struggle, and adversity, try not to let it affect you. Even persons without physical deformities experience depression occasionally and recover from it.”
